Typical Food and Craftmanship
Orvieto is also famous for its local cuisine and its typical products like wine (the Orvieto Classico, an important DOC wine) and the Extra-Virgin Olive Oil. These excellent products are produced in the hills countryside around the city rock. In the historical center of Orvieto you can easily find wine and food shops and also activities selling other local traditional objects, in particular ceramics and laces.
